Is there going to be updates soon? The course page says there’s only 1 week and 1 day left, and there’s still a fair bit of material from the looks of things.
Yup, on this Sunday I am going to publish new lesson, due to some road accident I could not publish from last 3 weeks. Now I have recovered and started to build videos. Course is going little slower than expected and will take little longer. Sorry for the delay
Hi , This is pretty basic, but I am finding it hard to understand.
while in the delete we did
return RedirectToAction(nameof(Index));
but here in Edit we did
return RedirectToAction(make);
If I do return RedirectToAction(nameof(IndexMakeList));, then I get “NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”
Can you please explain? I am new to it , so would highly appreciate your help. Thanks

Why is it adding icons is not included in this video?
Thanks for updating the video.
Hi Sandeep,
In the last lesson on Delete, I had the problem with and @url.Action() (please see my post there).
Then, after following your course to change the to use a form (Post), with asp-action and asp-route-id, I was able to do delete.
Now, in this lesson of Edit, the and @url.Action(…) gave me the same problem. Could you let me know what is going on?
I am using dotnet core 3.1. It may have something to do with it.
My startup.cs uses “asp.UseEndpoints(…) while yours uses “app.UseMvc(…)”
My startup.cs is correct based on Microsoft’s 2.0 to 3.0 migration document.
Tried to solve the and @url.Action() problem by searching on the web, but without success.
So, I like the last lesson, I switched to use a form submit (GET) for the edit, of course, using asp-action, asp-route-id, and it worked.
I am new to ASP.Net overall, so I appreciate you can shred some lights on this matter.
Thanks,
