   I received an error when I tried to run the first migration

   System.InvalidOperationException: No suitable constructor found for entity type ‘ModelBuilder’. The following parameters could not be bound to properties of the entity: ‘conventions’.

   Not sure if my previous comment was not accepted, because it was too long, or it just needs to be viewed first. So I got an error when I tried to run the migration command. I tried from powershell as well as from the command prompt and got the same exception.

   It starts with: System.InvalidOperationException: No suitable constructor found for entity type ‘ModelBuilder’. The following parameters could not be bound to properties of the entity: ‘conventions’.

   and ends with: No suitable constructor found for entity type ‘ModelBuilder’. The following parameters could not be bound to properties of the entity: ‘conventions’.

      Ok this is weird, it only happens on my Windows 7 box. I tried it on my Windows 10 Laptop and it worked without a hitch. 🙁

         So I just deleted the project and rewrote it, now it works. Not sure what I did previously. Obviously I omitted something or had a typo. lol
